Double-bassist about our instrument

Recently we have received positive feedback from our customer from Kyiv, Nazar Stets. He is a double-bassist. It's been 5 years since he played the first note on this instrument, and he wanted to share his impressions with us.

He really liked that he got a privilege to get it handmade and that the finishing touches were done in Ukraine. Nazar said that the bass is very comfortable to play, especially because of the neck shape and angle on the fingerboard between the 3rd and 4th strings. He tried a lot of different strings on it and finally found Thomistic Belcanto Solo sounds the best. They produce a really big, powerful sound which is very important for him when he plays a solo with an orchestra, like Botessini concertos or contemporary music. It is easy to produce a whole spectrum of modern musical language.
